Once I found a box made of gold,
I wondered- what did it hold?
Inside was a note that said,
Don't open, or lose your head!
But I paid no heed,
And inside a found a seed.
Of color it was blue,
Some places purple too.
The seed had a partition,
Which I opened in anticipation.
Inside was a map of treasure
Much to my immense pleasure.
I followed the instructions,
And went in all the right directions.
At last, I found my destination,
And danced around it in celebration.
I began digging the place,
Sweat piling on my face.
Finally, I discovered an old box.
Which had many locks.
On each was written-
APRIL FOOL, YOU CHICKEN!
